A dull taste in your mouth, stress-induced stomach pains, and the urgent need to kick the damn world in the ass. Damn, sprained your foot in the process! Then rather the new COLD SUMMER 7” on the turntable.

The guitar shoves you straight down the basement stairs, the angry vocals hurl despair and madness in your face and you just know it's serious. The no-frills drums and bone-dry bass drive the four songs to the brink with aggressive conciseness.

This is not pure gloomy punk; influences from post-punk, hardcore, and metal mutate everything into a beast of the refined kind. Cold Summer calls what they throw at your feet on "Altlasten" bad weather punk. After the excellent demo tape on Kink Records/Jean-Claude Madame, now the next coup from the Leipzigers on Kink Records/It's Eleven Records.
