Cold Summer - Given the Circumstances

What sounds like a threat are the first words of the new 12" by Cold Summer.
The four bad-weather punks from Leipzig have struck again – more direct, angrier and more urgent than before.
With "Den Umständen entsprechend" they release five new songs that hit the nerve of the present as unvarnished as they are merciless.
The record remains true to itself and its genre: straight forward, at times playful, full of emotion but always uncompromising.
Thus, Cold Summer drive their own frustration before them and leave you with a cold shiver and a dark premonition.
Inspired by the hopelessness of everyday life, "Den Umständen entsprechend" is more than just another post-punk record.
It is an angry comment on the structures that sometimes feel like a dystopian fever dream.
Recorded by Anton Hoyer in their own rehearsal room and mastered by JB Meyrieux, "Den Umständen entsprechend" will be released as a one-sided 12" with screen print by Kink Records and It’s Eleven Records.
